GPSR information generator
Since 13 December 2024, every online offer must say who made the product, who is responsible for it in the EU and how to identify it. Fill in the form and copy a clean block in German, English, French, Italian, Spanish or Polish.
What GPSR Article 19 requires
Article 19 of the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 requires every online offer to show the manufacturer’s name, postal address and electronic address, information to identify the product — a picture, its type and any other identifier such as batch or serial number or EAN — and the warnings and safety information that are on the product or its packaging, in the language of the buyer’s country.
If the manufacturer is not established in the EU, the offer must also name the responsible person in the EU with name, postal and electronic address: the importer, an authorised representative or a fulfilment service provider. Without one, the product may not be sold in the EU.
Amazon, eBay, Kaufland and Otto have their own product safety fields for this information, and those are what they check. Put the data there; use the block for your own shop, for descriptions and for marketplaces without such fields.
